I'm Chester Roberts II, better known as Samurai Cory, an American digital illustrator and webcomic creator based in the New York metro area born in 1990. Samurai Cory Studio is my independent creative studio founded in 2016.My work is heavily influenced by shonen anime and manga, video games, and street culture from the mid-to-late 1990s and the Y2K era. Urban fantasy, adventure, and martial arts are recurring themes in my webcomic series.I'm known for having the main male characters in my webcomic series to be brave and precocious like Magi's Aladdin, as urban fashion such as ultra-baggy clothes and oversized sneakers with untied, chunky shoelaces are my recurring themes for my characters. As they perform massive feats of strength, magic, or intelligence, including those trained in martial arts, the contrast makes the characters feel even more impressive. It tells the audience that they cannot be contained by strict rules or neat uniforms—they are too busy exploring and saving the world and also known for having them partner with the main female protagonist, who often has her long hair tied in a ponytail, and also the tomboy best friend and most respectful partner of the main male protagonist, as she is less tsundere and more supportive as she frequently goes on adventures with the main male protagonist.

Three brave teenage Kyokushin karateka Daisuke Ninomiya and his two best friends Hikari Kitayama and Keiji "Yohan" Matsumoto, known as the Shibuya Brawlers, were sent by the Neo-Interpol to stop the criminal masterminds and leaders of the Wild Mondo crime syndicate, the Kurosawa Brothers, from destroying the world after a failed 2030 apocalypse. Daisuke and his two best friends are on a journey across their native Tokyo and New York City.
